The Walker Family


There are some locations that feel magical the moment you step onto the property, and the Fairmont Grand Del Mar is definitely one of them. Between the Spanish-inspired architecture, manicured gardens, and warm golden light, it creates the perfect backdrop for timeless family photos.


For this session, I spent the afternoon with a beautiful family exploring some of my favorite spots around the grounds. We wandered through the ivy-covered walkways, paused under the tall palms, and captured candid moments as the kids ran and played. The Grand Del Mar offers a mix of elegance and nature, which is exactly what I love for family photos—classic, effortless, and full of life.


What I loved most about this session was how natural everything felt. The family showed up relaxed and ready to have fun, and it made the entire shoot feel easy and authentic. From sweet hugs to playful in-between moments, their connection truly came through in every photo.


The final gallery is a blend of warm, editorial-style portraits and candid storytelling images—something they can treasure for years to come.
