OLLIE
There is something incredibly grounding about newborn sessions. Time slows. The room softens. Every movement feels intentional, quiet, sacred. Baby Ollie’s session was exactly that kind of moment. Calm, tender, and full of the kind of details you never want to forget.
Photographed in a clean, light-filled setting with soft white textures, this session focused on simplicity and connection. No over-styling. No forced poses. Just Ollie as he is in these fleeting first days of life.
From tiny curled toes and delicate fingers to the way his cheeks rested so perfectly against the blankets, every frame told a story of new beginnings. Ollie was incredibly relaxed, drifting between alert little expressions and peaceful sleep, giving us a beautiful range of moments. Those in-between expressions, the almost-smiles, the thoughtful stares, are always my favorite. They feel honest and timeless.
One of the sweetest moments was watching Ollie stretch out next to his plush bunny, a quiet nod to the size contrast that will feel unbelievable in just a few short months. These are the details parents often don’t realize they’ll miss until they’re gone. The softness. The stillness. The way newborns naturally fold into themselves like they’re still carrying the memory of the womb.
Lifestyle newborn photography is all about preserving this season without forcing it into something it’s not. Babies don’t need much. Soft light, gentle hands, and the space to simply be. Ollie gave us exactly that, and the result is a gallery that feels warm, organic, and deeply personal.
If you’re expecting and considering a newborn session, the best time to book is during pregnancy, with sessions typically taking place within the first 2–3 weeks after birth. My approach is always baby-led, relaxed, and designed to feel more like a quiet morning at home than a photoshoot.
