Booking a session is simple. You can reach out through my website's contact form, email, or phone. We'll discuss your needs, check availability, and finalize the details to secure your booking.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! You can choose the location for your photo shoot, whether it's a favorite spot, a meaningful place, or a beautiful natural setting. I'm also happy to offer location suggestions based on your vision.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies based on the type of shoot. Typically, sessions last between 1 to 2 hours. Event coverage such as elopements and weddings vary per clients’ needs.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
You can expect to receive your final edited photos within 2 weeks after your session. For elopements and weddings it will be between 2-4 weeks.
What is editorial wedding photography?
Editorial wedding photography is a style that combines fine art and journalism to capture the essence of a wedding day. Emphasizing a mix of candid shots and styled images that are timeless, natural, and artistic.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather is unfavorable, we can reschedule the shoot for another day. Your comfort and the quality of the photos are my top priorities, so we'll find a solution that works best for you.
What planning and direction is included with my booking?
With your booking, I provide comprehensive planning and direction, including a pre-session consultation to discuss your vision, mood board creation, help with location selection, wardrobe guidance, and posing tips to ensure you feel comfortable and look your absolute best.
What is your editing style?
My editing style is natural, clean, and true-to-color. I aim to enhance the beauty of each moment while maintaining an authentic and timeless look.
Do you provide raw files?
I do not provide raw files. My work is a blend of capturing the moment and post-processing to achieve the final look. The edited images you receive are a reflection of my artistic vision and expertise.
Do you travel?
Yes, I do travel for elopements and weddings! I'm based in Southern California but love the opportunity to capture your love in beautiful destinations. Let's discuss your location, and we can make it happen!
How far in advance should we book?
It's best to book as far in advance as possible to secure your desired date, especially for weddings and popular seasons. I recommend booking at least 6 to 12 months in advance for weddings and 1 to 2 months for other sessions.
Can we request specific shots?
Absolutely! I encourage you to share any specific shots or ideas you have in mind. We'll go over your preferences during our planning session to ensure your vision is captured.
How do you handle payments?
Payments are typically handled through a secure online invoicing system. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due on or before the session date. Payment plans can also be arranged for wedding coverage.
How many weddings do you shoot each year?
No more than 30 weddings a year. This is to ensure I can provide a personalized experience and the highest quality of imagery to each couple.
