HAIR BY KAYLA MARIE


I recently photographed a branding session for my dear friend and hairstylist, Kayla of KM Wedding Beauty, a talented wedding hairstylist based in San Diego. We shot her session at Hendo Loft, a beautiful studio space that provided the perfect clean, editorial backdrop for her brand.


Kayla specializes in bridal hairstyling for weddings and events, and this session was designed to capture both the professional and personal sides of her business. We focused on creating a mix of portraits, lifestyle moments, and flat lays of her tools and products to showcase what a typical wedding morning looks like for her behind the scenes.


Throughout the shoot we incorporated playful elements, movement, and styling details that reflect Kayla’s personality and the creative nature of her work. From editorial portraits to styled product shots, the goal was to create imagery she can use across her website, social media, and marketing materials.
